Privacy policy

This site is a brochure, not an application. No login, no basket, and at the moment no contact form. So the only personal information that reaches us is whatever you put in an email. This page says what that covers, what the hosting company logs on its own, and what we don’t do at all. Where something isn’t in place yet it says so, rather than claiming a right we aren’t using.

Who is responsible

Businesses That Win runs this website and decides how the information below gets used. Any question about this page, including asking to see or delete what we hold, goes to hello@businessesthatwin.com.

What you send us

If you email us we get whatever is in the message. Usually that is your name, email address, business name, website, and what you are asking about. It sits in our email so we can reply, quote for the work, and keep a record of what was agreed.

We keep enquiries while the conversation is live and for a while after, in case you come back. If it turns into paid work, the records stay as long as the tax rules say they have to. Want it deleted sooner? Ask and it goes.

What gets logged without us asking

The hosting company keeps standard server logs of every request: the IP address, the page, the time, where you came from, and which browser. That is for security and for working out what broke. It is generated by their infrastructure, not by anything we wrote, and they keep it on their own schedule.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
  • We don’t run ad pixels or retargeting tags on this site.
  • We don’t build marketing profiles out of what visitors look at.
  • We don’t email people who never asked to hear from us.
  • We don’t use anything you send us to train AI models.

Analytics

There is no analytics on this site at the moment. If we add some, this section will name it, say whether it puts anything on your device, and say what it measures. Before it goes live, not after.

Client accounts

Separately from this site, working for a client usually means access to their analytics, search, hosting and ad accounts. The client grants it, we use it only for the work agreed, and it gets handed back at the end of the job or whenever they ask. We don’t copy client data into our own systems beyond what the reporting needs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict how it is used, or get a copy in a portable format. Email the address above and you get an answer within a month. No particular wording needed and no charge.

Children

This site is for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and it gets deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material, such as a new supplier handling data or a new reason for holding it, gets described here rather than quietly folded into the existing wording.
