Businesses That Win

Services

Five things. We do all of them.

A small business needs five things from a web firm, and most firms sell you two of them and leave the rest. We build the site so Google can read it. We do the search work that gets it in front of people ready to buy. We do the local work that wins the map, which is where the phone calls come from if you serve an area. We get you named when someone asks an assistant instead of typing a search. And we keep the thing running so it doesn’t quietly fall over six months after launch.

01

Websites

A site built round the searches your customers actually use, not round a theme somebody bought.

Most small business sites are a bought theme with the stock text swapped out. They look alright and they rank for nothing, because nobody ever asked what the site needed to be found for. We ask that first. What your buyers type, what your competitors already own, which pages you need to stand a chance. The design goes on top of that list, not the other way round.

Every site we build sends finished HTML on the first request. Google sees the whole page straight away, and so does a customer on a bad phone signal in a van. That one thing puts a small site ahead of a competitor running a page builder that takes four seconds to show anything.

What you get
  • A call to work out who buys from you and what they search for
  • The page list, agreed in writing before design starts
  • A design made for you, not a theme your competitor can buy too
  • Fast pages: static build, compressed images, real device testing
  • Structured data so Google knows what your business is and does
  • Analytics, Search Console and call tracking working before launch

02

SEO

Fixing what stops you ranking, writing what earns rankings, and building the reputation that holds them.

SEO is three jobs. Make sure Google can crawl and understand every page you care about. Publish pages that answer a question better than whatever currently sits above you. Earn enough mentions elsewhere that Google trusts your answer. Skip one and you waste the other two.

We do all three on a monthly cycle and show the work. What went up, what got fixed, what moved, what didn't. Rankings get reported next to the searches and the calls they produced, because ranking first for something nobody searches is not a result and we won't pretend it is.

What you get
  • Full technical audit: crawling, indexing, speed, redirects
  • The search list that matters, mapped to the pages you actually sell
  • Content written and published on a schedule you can see
  • Internal links pointed at the pages that make you money
  • Digital PR and citations, so the mentions are real ones
  • A monthly report in plain English: searches, clicks, calls, forms

03

Local and map pack

For anyone who works an area: the profile, the location pages and the reviews behind the three results on the map.

If people search with a town name on the end, the map pack is the most valuable spot on the page, and it's won on different signals to the blue links below it. You can't change how close you are to the searcher. You can change everything else.

That means a Google Business Profile filled in properly, categories picked deliberately, your name, address and phone number matching everywhere they get scraped, and location pages with something real on them. Thin town pages spun off a template are the fastest way to get a local site dropped out of the index, so we don't build them, and we'll say no if you ask.

What you get
  • Google Business Profile set up properly, and posted to every month
  • Directory listings cleaned up so your details match everywhere
  • Location pages with real content, not a template with the town swapped
  • A review process your staff will actually follow
  • LocalBusiness markup and consistent details on every page
  • Rank tracking by neighbourhood, so you can see the map, not a number

05

Care and hosting

Hosting, updates, monitoring, and someone who answers when you email about a change.

A site isn't a delivery, it's a thing that has to keep working. Care covers the boring half: hosting, security updates, uptime and form checks, backups, and the small text and picture changes every business needs a few times a month.

There's no ticket queue and no support tier to climb. You email, we answer, and small changes go live the same day or the next one.

What you get
  • Hosting on a fast global network, with SSL
  • Framework and security updates
  • Monitoring for downtime, broken links and forms that stop sending
  • Off-site backups, with a restore we've actually tested
  • A monthly allowance for text and image changes
  • A quarterly check on speed and what Google has indexed

Price

Quoted after a call. Fixed before we start.

A build is priced on how many pages need writing and whether you’re selling or taking bookings online. Search work is a monthly fee, sized to how hard your market is. Both get agreed in writing first. No hourly meter, no extra invoice when you get the keys.
